Body Awareness Coaching for Self-Trust, Presence & Connection
Learn to Notice What Your Body Is Telling You
Body awareness coaching helps you become more attentive to the physical, emotional, and relational signals that influence how you move through everyday life. Through one-on-one Expression Sessions, I work primarily with women who want to understand themselves beyond thoughts alone and develop a stronger relationship with what their bodies are communicating. That may include noticing tension, changes in energy, emotional responses, nervous system cues, boundaries, or the physical sensations that arise when something feels aligned or uncomfortable. The goal is not to analyze every sensation, but to become more present with yourself before automatically overriding what you notice.
You may be drawn to a body awareness coach because you spend a lot of time thinking through your experiences but still feel disconnected from what you actually feel in the moment. You might understand your patterns intellectually and still find yourself people-pleasing, second-guessing, shutting down, pushing through discomfort, or struggling to recognize what you need until you have already reached your limit. Body awareness coaching brings more attention to those moments so that self-awareness becomes something you can experience, not only something you can explain. Over time, this can support more intentional choices, clearer boundaries, and a stronger connection with yourself.
Becoming More Aware of What Is Happening Inside You
Recognizing your signals before they become overwhelming
Your body often begins communicating long before you consciously name what is happening. You may notice tension, fatigue, restlessness, a change in breathing, irritation, or the urge to pull away before you understand why. Body awareness coaching can help you become more familiar with those early signals and curious about what may be underneath them. Recognizing what is happening sooner can create more room for choice before you automatically fall into a familiar response.
Connecting physical awareness with emotional awareness
Your body often begins communicating long before you consciously name what is happening. You may notice tension, fatigue, restlessness, a change in breathing, irritation, or the urge to pull away before you understand why. Body awareness coaching can help you become more familiar with those early signals and curious about what may be underneath them. Recognizing what is happening sooner can create more room for choice before you automatically fall into a familiar response.
Noticing where you leave yourself in relationships
Self-awareness becomes especially important when another person’s needs, emotions, or expectations enter the picture. You may know what you want until someone disagrees, becomes upset, or asks something of you. Body awareness can help you recognize the moment you begin tightening, freezing, over-accommodating, or losing contact with your own experience. That makes relationships an important place to practice staying aware of yourself while remaining connected to someone else.
Building a more reliable relationship with your boundaries
A boundary often begins as a feeling before it becomes a sentence. You may sense discomfort, exhaustion, resistance, irritation, or a need for more space before you consciously decide that something is not working for you. Self awareness coaching can help you notice those cues earlier and understand what makes them difficult to honor. As awareness grows, boundaries can begin to feel more connected to your actual experience rather than something you remember only after you have already pushed too far.
When You Know Yourself Well but Still Miss What Is Happening in the Moment
You may already consider yourself self-aware. Perhaps you reflect deeply, understand your history, recognize your patterns, and can explain why certain relationships or situations affect you. Yet when something actually happens, you may still find yourself reacting before you realize what is going on. You say yes and recognize later that you wanted to say no, become overwhelmed before noticing you needed space, or understand a feeling only after you have spent hours trying to reason your way through it. Intellectual self-awareness and moment-to-moment awareness are not always the same thing.
Body awareness coaching helps bring those two forms of understanding closer together. We can slow down experiences and pay attention to what happens in your body, where your attention moves, what emotions arise, and what impulse appears before your familiar pattern takes over. Instead of treating those responses as mistakes, we can use them as information about what you need, fear, expect, or protect. The work is not about becoming perfectly aware of yourself every second. It is about becoming increasingly able to notice when you have left yourself and know how to return.
Graciela’s Body Awareness Coaching Style
My coaching style is blunt with care and tenderness. I pay attention to both what you are telling me and what seems to be happening in your body while you tell me. Sessions can include body awareness, nervous system support, movement, breathwork, intentional conversation, reflection, and exploration of attachment, boundaries, communication, relationships, conflict, self-expression, and self-regulation. I see awareness as something that includes your thoughts, body, emotions, and relational patterns rather than treating each of those as separate.
I am not interested in teaching you that every physical sensation has one specific meaning or that being highly aware means constantly monitoring yourself. Sometimes tension is important information, and sometimes it simply needs to be noticed without immediately turning it into a problem. We can explore what happens when you slow down, what you tend to override, and which internal signals are hardest for you to trust. I may point something out directly when I notice you moving away from your own experience, but the aim is always to help you become better able to recognize it for yourself.
For women who have spent years paying close attention to everyone else, increasing self-awareness can feel surprisingly unfamiliar. You may be excellent at reading another person’s mood while struggling to identify your own needs until they become impossible to ignore. A self awareness coach can create space where your internal experience becomes part of the conversation rather than something that automatically moves to the background. Over time, the work can support more presence, clearer choices, stronger boundaries, and a more dependable relationship with yourself.
Body Awareness Coaching Options and Session Pathways
Single Body Awareness Coaching Sessions
A single session can give you focused space to explore an experience where you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure what your body is trying to communicate. You may be navigating a relationship, struggling with a boundary, noticing recurring tension, feeling emotionally activated, or simply wanting to become more present with yourself. We can slow the situation down and explore both what you think about it and what happens internally when you revisit it. One session may provide the awareness you need in that moment, or it can help you decide whether you want more ongoing support.
Body Awareness Coaching Session Bundles
Bundles provide more continuity when you want self-awareness to become something you practice in everyday life rather than something you access only during one conversation. Ongoing coaching gives you time to notice physical and emotional patterns between sessions, experiment with responding differently, and bring those real-life experiences back into the work. This can be particularly useful when the same patterns appear around relationships, boundaries, conflict, stress, or self-expression. Over time, awareness can become easier to access in the moments when you actually need it.
Expression Sessions Coaching Pathways
-
Ignite Your Flame is a six-session coaching journey that shares the same first five sessions as Feed Your Fire, creating a strong foundation for the deeper work ahead. This pathway focuses on tapping into the body, listening more closely to your needs and desires, and becoming more confident in your truth. It is a place to notice how you may have learned to silence yourself, disconnect from your body, or override what you really feel.
This container helps you build self-awareness, reconnect with your authentic voice, and begin practicing more honest expression in a grounded and compassionate way. It is often a powerful fit for people who know they want more than a one-off conversation and are ready for a more intentional process of reconnection. Over the course of the sessions, clients can begin noticing not just what they feel, but how they want to relate to themselves differently. The work is blunt with care and tenderness, creating space for meaningful shifts in confidence, clarity, and self-trust.

(Extension Of Iginite Your Flame)
Feed Your Fire is a ten-session coaching container for deeper integration that begins with the same first five sessions as Ignite Your Flame. From there, the work moves more directly into attachment and how these patterns are applied and lived in everyday life. This pathway creates space to explore communication, relationships, self-led leadership, boundaries, and the ways your deeper patterns show up in real-time choices and connection.
It is designed for people who want to move beyond initial insight and begin living with more consistency, clarity, and integrity. Feed Your Fire supports the ongoing practice of staying connected to yourself and expressing that connection in real life. This longer container allows more room for the kind of repetition, reflection, and real-world application that deeper change often requires. It can be especially supportive for clients who want to strengthen how they show up in relationships, conflict, creativity, and everyday decision-making.

For some clients, self-expression and the singing voice are deeply connected. This combined option is designed for people who want support with both vocal development and the emotional or relational patterns that may be affecting the vocal channel.
These sessions can explore where you may have been silenced, shut down, discouraged, or told no, and how those experiences may still be showing up in your ability to sing, create, and use your voice freely. This is the bridge between the coaching side of the work and Graciela’s vocal mentorship. It can be a meaningful option for singers, creatives, or anyone who senses that the voice is carrying more than technique alone can address. By working with both expression and the vocal channel together, clients can often access a fuller sense of freedom, honesty, and creativity in their voice.
Why Intentional Conversation?
Through a thoughtful, curiosity-driven conversation, we can identify recurring patterns in your thoughts, behaviors, and experiences. This process can help you better understand yourself, gain insight into how your mind works, and explore new ways of reframing challenges.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, intentional conversation emphasizes carefully chosen questions designed to spark self-discovery. The focus is not on providing answers, but on helping you uncover your own perspectives, values, and truths through honest reflection.
Why Movement and Breathwork Before Every Session:
This is intentional. Every week you get this hour for you. Life can be hectic and can have so many moving factors. Its time to unwind honey! We find it very helpful to be able to get into the body through movement and to calm the nervous system through breathwork. Letting us arrive into the moment.
Why
Embodiment
Practices:
If you think all the healing is through the mind, think twice! It’s called emBODiment for a reason and it’s a practice. Many times talk therapy is helpful for releasing our thought process but many people leave it feeling like they are still unresolved. That’s because a lot is stored in the body, waiting to be released and just talking about our problems will not heal them. Through these practices we are able to ACTUALLY come home. Not only tapping into the body to better understand it but also emotions or past experiences that no longer serve.
Embodied Confidence: Live louder. Love deeper. Express fully.
Embodied Confidence is a six-session journey designed to help you reconnect with your body, your voice, and your authentic expression. Through guided somatic practices, vocal exploration, and intentional conversation, we begin to uncover the patterns that shape how you move through the world—where you hold tension, where you silence yourself, and where your energy is being drained.
This container supports you in building deeper self-awareness, releasing what has been stored in the body, and practicing honest expression in a safe and supportive space. As you reconnect with yourself, confidence becomes less about performing and more about trusting your voice, your truth, and your presence.
Ignite Your Flame is about coming home to yourself—fully expressed, grounded in your body, and no longer afraid to take up space.

Become More Present With Yourself in Everyday Life
Greater awareness does not require you to monitor or analyze yourself constantly. Body awareness coaching can help you notice what your body, emotions, and patterns are communicating, strengthen self-trust, and create more room to make choices from a clearer connection with yourself.
Who This Body Awareness Coaching Is For
Women who feel disconnected from their physical cues
You may notice that you do not recognize exhaustion, discomfort, tension, or emotional activation until it becomes intense. Body awareness coaching can help you become more familiar with the signals that appear earlier.
Women who spend most of their time in their heads
You may analyze experiences extensively while still struggling to know what you actually feel or want. Awareness coaching can help bring physical and emotional information into the process alongside your thoughts.
Women who want stronger self-awareness in relationships
You may find it easy to lose track of your own needs when someone else is emotional, disappointed, or asking something from you. Self awareness coaching can help you notice when that shift happens and practice staying more connected to yourself.
Women who want to make choices with more clarity
You may be tired of realizing afterward that you ignored something important about how a decision, relationship, or situation actually felt. Greater body and self-awareness can give you more information to work with before you choose how to respond.
Benefits of Body Awareness Coaching
Body awareness coaching can support greater recognition of your physical cues, emotions, nervous system responses, boundaries, and recurring patterns. You may begin noticing the first signs of overwhelm rather than recognizing them only after reaching exhaustion, or become more aware of what happens physically when you want to speak up, step back, say yes, or say no. Greater awareness can also help you distinguish between what you genuinely feel and what you think you are supposed to feel. That can create more room for self-trust and intentional decision-making.
Over time, stronger self-awareness may begin affecting the way you communicate, navigate relationships, respond to stress, set boundaries, and make everyday choices. You may find it easier to recognize when you need rest, space, connection, expression, or a change in direction. You may also recover more quickly when you notice that you have fallen back into an old pattern because you know how to return your attention to yourself. The goal is not constant self-monitoring, but a more available and trustworthy relationship with your own experience.
Body Awareness Coaching Pricing and Pathways
Single Body Awareness Coaching Session: $150
You can begin with one session or choose a bundle if you want continued support around body awareness, self-awareness, boundaries, emotional patterns, relationships, or nervous system responses. A single session can be useful when one situation feels especially present, while bundles create more space to notice how your awareness changes across everyday experiences. Continued coaching allows you to practice paying attention to yourself outside of sessions and bring those observations back into our conversations. You can choose the amount of support that feels appropriate for what you want to explore.
For women seeking a more structured pathway, Ignite Your Flame and Feed Your Fire offer curated coaching experiences. Ignite Your Flame establishes a foundation around reconnecting with the body, needs, desires, nervous system, and personal truth, while Feed Your Fire carries that work further into attachment, boundaries, communication, relationships, self-leadership, and applying greater awareness in everyday life. Expression Sessions can also be paired with voice lessons when self-awareness, physical tension, or past silencing is affecting creativity or the vocal channel. Each option provides a different level of continuity while supporting a stronger relationship with yourself.
Your Body Awareness Coaching Questions, Answered
-
Yes. Your body may begin responding to a situation before you consciously recognize that a boundary is needed. You might notice tension, fatigue, irritation, dread, restlessness, or an urge to create distance while still telling yourself you should be fine. Body awareness coaching can help you recognize those cues earlier and become more curious about what they are communicating. This can make boundaries easier to identify before resentment or overwhelm builds.
The next challenge is often staying connected to that awareness when another person reacts. Fear of conflict, attachment, or people-pleasing can make you override what you noticed almost immediately. Coaching can help you recognize what happens in those moments as well. Boundaries then become connected to ongoing self-awareness rather than a rule you try to remember only when things have already gone too far.
-
Self awareness coaching is not designed to eliminate thought, but it can help you recognize when reflection turns into repetitive analysis that takes you further away from yourself. You may keep searching for the perfect explanation, replaying a conversation, or trying to think your way into certainty while ignoring what you already feel. Bringing attention to the body and emotions can give you additional information and help interrupt that loop. Sometimes the next useful step is noticing rather than analyzing.
We can also explore what overthinking is trying to accomplish. It may be attempting to prevent conflict, avoid a mistake, gain certainty, or protect you from a feeling you do not want to experience. Understanding that function can make the pattern easier to work with. The goal is not a blank mind, but more flexibility in where you place your attention.
-
No. Body awareness coaching and Expression Sessions are offered as coaching rather than psychotherapy, counseling, physical therapy, or licensed mental health treatment. Sessions may include body awareness, nervous system support, movement, breathwork, emotional reflection, relationships, boundaries, and personally meaningful experiences. However, the focus is on self-awareness, personal growth, expression, communication, and how you apply what you notice in everyday life. The work is not intended to diagnose or treat mental health or medical conditions.
Coaching may complement therapy or other professional support for some people, but it does not replace clinical care when that is needed. I want that distinction to remain clear so you can choose support that matches your situation. Expression Sessions provide a non-clinical environment for learning more about your patterns and internal experience. If your needs extend beyond that scope, an appropriately licensed professional may be more suitable.
-
Yes. A single body awareness coaching session is $150, and you can begin without committing to a longer program. One session can be useful if you want to explore a specific boundary, emotional response, relationship dynamic, pattern of disconnection, or simply become more aware of what is happening internally around a particular situation. It can also give you a sense of my approach before deciding whether you want more continuity. You do not need prior experience with body awareness practices.
If you want continued support, session bundles and the Ignite Your Flame and Feed Your Fire pathways provide more room to deepen the work. Ongoing coaching allows you to notice yourself differently between sessions and bring those observations back into the process. You can begin recognizing patterns earlier, trying new responses, and learning what helps you return to yourself. That real-life practice can make awareness increasingly useful and accessible.
-
Body awareness coaching is one-on-one coaching that helps you become more attentive to physical cues, emotions, nervous system responses, boundaries, and the ways your body reacts to everyday situations. Instead of focusing exclusively on what you think about an experience, coaching also creates room to notice how you experience it physically. That may include tension, changes in breathing, energy, discomfort, relaxation, or the impulse to move toward or away from something. Those observations can provide useful information about your internal experience.
In my Expression Sessions, body awareness is connected with relationships, communication, self-trust, boundaries, and authentic expression. We may slow a situation down and notice what happens before you automatically respond in the way you usually do. The goal is not to assign a fixed meaning to every sensation. It is to help you become more capable of noticing yourself and using that awareness in everyday life.
-
A body awareness coach helps you notice how physical and emotional responses connect with your habits, relationships, boundaries, and choices. In my work, that may involve intentional conversation, movement, breathwork, nervous system awareness, reflection, and paying closer attention to what happens in your body as we discuss something meaningful. I may ask you to pause before immediately explaining a feeling and notice what is happening physically instead. That can reveal information that gets missed when everything stays intellectual.
My role is not to diagnose your body or tell you what a particular sensation definitely means. We can explore what you notice and whether it connects with a larger pattern in your life. The aim is to develop your own capacity for awareness rather than making you dependent on someone else to interpret your experience. Greater body awareness can then become a practical part of how you relate to yourself.
-
Self awareness coaching helps you develop a clearer understanding of your own patterns, needs, emotions, boundaries, values, and responses. It can be useful if you frequently recognize what happened only after the fact or if you understand yourself intellectually but struggle to stay connected to that understanding in emotionally charged situations. Coaching creates dedicated space to notice how you respond and what may be influencing those responses. From there, you can begin deciding which patterns still serve you and which you may want to relate to differently.
Self-awareness is not the same as constantly thinking about yourself. In fact, too much analysis can sometimes make it harder to feel what is actually happening. My approach combines reflection with body awareness, nervous system support, and intentional conversation so that awareness includes both understanding and experience. The aim is to know yourself in a way that becomes useful in your actual life.
-
A self awareness coach can help you recognize recurring patterns around relationships, communication, boundaries, choices, emotions, and self-expression. You may want support understanding why you react strongly in certain situations, why you keep repeating the same relational dynamic, or why you regularly realize too late that you ignored your own needs. Coaching can help slow those experiences down so you can see more of what happens between the trigger and the response. That additional awareness can create more options.
In my work, I also pay attention to what is happening physically as you explore those patterns. Sometimes your body reacts before your mind has identified what feels difficult, exciting, threatening, or important. Learning to notice those signals can deepen your understanding of yourself. The goal is not only greater insight, but greater ability to use that insight when it matters.
-
Body awareness coaching places particular emphasis on physical sensations, nervous system responses, breath, movement, tension, energy, and other signals coming from the body. Self awareness coaching is broader and may also include thoughts, beliefs, emotional patterns, identity, relationships, values, and behavior. In practice, the two can overlap significantly because your physical experience is one part of your overall awareness. You do not need to choose one and ignore the other.
My Expression Sessions often bring both together. We may explore what you think about a situation, what you feel emotionally, what your body is doing, and how those pieces affect the response you ultimately make. Looking at the whole experience can provide more useful information than focusing on one layer alone. The aim is a more integrated understanding of yourself.
